I absolutely love the understated chic quality of interior designer Michelle Smith‘s New York City apartment. It’s all about the little details like mini art collages, black closet doors, cocktail corner and vintage touches throughout. And a closet dedicated solely to shoes? A must!

Cute and colorful. I would put the liquor bottles in a dark space rather than in the sunlight to perverse the flavors. I guess it was done for presentation.
What a great space. The first living room is so cool, I love the clear coffee table.

I’m so in love with this
I love NYC because it’s a must to be creative in home design! Her shoe closet is such a good idea, and I love that her copper pots look used! When I first got my copper pots, I stressed that they weren’t always perfectly shiny. Now, I think the coloring of them from being used adds to their beauty. Thanks for sharing her apartment, it’s wonderful interior design inspiration!
Love it so much!

AH! This is the exact feel I was going for when I started to redecorate. I love the use of plants elegantly studded throughout the house. Crisp whites, pops of texture and color -but mainly a sense of peace and comforting quiet cultivated in creativity.
Blue chair sticks out like a sore thumb.
I love taking a peek inside someone’s home—especially one as gorgeous as this one!
I’m so in love with her apartment… Great place for reference x
That is an amazing skirt she’s wearing the first photo! Any advice on where I may find something similar?
