Danielle Mckinney

Danielle Mckinney's intimate portraits of solitary female protagonists are simply arresting and an honest expression of human life and emotion. I love how her figures are immersed in moments of deep reflection and leisurely pursuits, some with deep, confident gazes and some engrossed in their own solitude.  The fiery red nails, streams of cigarette smoke, deeply colorful hues contrasted against dramatically dark backgrounds conjure mysterious narratives and our desire to know more. Honestly, enthralling.

Are you abandoning this blog? If so, I will miss it. If not, I am bored with checking and rechecking to see if there are any new posts. I’ll check one more time, then if nothing new, off my list, I’m afraid.
