Considering how many times I've visited Mexico, I'm surprised I still haven't made it to Tulum. But I'm pretty sure Casa Pueblo's hacienda-style hotel Boca Paila, located along the coast of Tulum beach, is enough to motivate me to finally make the trip. The vibe here is beyond serene with its stark hand-plastered walls, abundance of palms and minimalist decor accentuated by red stripes, sage green accents and natural-toned textiles. The 3 story property has only 14 rooms, each dressed with Parachute linens and collectively centered around a chic, red and white checker-tiled pool. And with the beach just a few steps away? What an ideal place to unplug and chill . . .
