These outfits are super adorable for the most part, aside from the fact that “gypsy” is a racial slur. So unless you’re keen on walking around being racist, no, that t-shirt is not cute or clever or okay at all.
The leggings, on the other hand, are RAD.

So there’s one kid with a shirt that says, “I’M A WANDERING GYPSY”, and another wearing a shirt with a Native American man in a warbonnet.

Why not just dress your kids up with shirts that say, “WE ARE TOTALLY OKAY WITH RACIAL SLURS AND DEGRADING STEREOTYPES”, maybe with some cute drawings of skulls wearing Native headdresses and some lynched Blacks while we’re at it, too.

paige, i totally agree with you. and this clothes is impractical and pricey for a ‘free-spirited’ child, which means children who love to get dirty..

Do you folks just wake up in the morning and go, “Hm, I want to find really boring but also really offensive clothing, oh and of course I want to pay someone else at least a $100 for it”?

*Cringe* @ the “I’m a wandering gypsy” shirt. Not only is it ignorant, but it’s also just lame. If you’re gonna be lame, at least use the correct terminology, and sport a “I’m a nomadic Romani” shirt.
