Husband and wife duo Maria Diaz and Pepe Romero started their LA based handbag label Cuero&Mør without any background in design or fashion. They simply shared a deep desire to make bags that they felt were lacking in the market. The result is a collection of luxuriously simple bags, with a minimalist design approach and a strong focus on quality. The design duo works closely with a leather tannery and factory in their native Southern Spain, where each bag is handmade, hand stitched to last a lifetime. So far, so very good – though I’d love to see more unique and distinctive shapes in collections to come!
