Mystique

Perched almost precipitously on the rim of Santorini‘s caldera is the stunning Mystique Hotel. I’m headed to Greece and Turkey for the first time in October and can’t wait to witness the uninterrupted views of volcanic cliffs, the iconic white-washed villas, and the clear blue waters of the Aegean Sea. Beyond this my itinerary is still open so I’d love any suggestions if you are so inclined to share!

Oh I’m so happy you’re visiting my country! Santorini is a gorgeous island! With very beautiful architecture! I’ve been there only once but I want to visit again! You should visit the Red beach (or sth like that). It is located near Akrotiri. It was my favorite beach when visiting Santorini!

the shopping in istanbul is very, very awesome. There’s a really nice Turkish label called Ipekyol, check that out. their dresses are gorgeous. and pass by the grand bazaar too. It’s a tourist trap, but a fun one, and bargain 70% of the price to get to its true worth:D

  24. oh my goddd you’re gonna LOVE it!! I traveled to Greece last summer and it is my favorite place in Europe thus far. The place I stayed at in Santorini looks just like the 3rd photo down, magical. Literally. but it’s kind of a quiet island (which is perfect for vacation) but my favorite island was Mkyonos. are you headed there? the beaches are beautiful (no beaches in Santorini but amazing views by the pool) and the town/village is full of INCREDIBLE restaurants, shopping and people. so excited for you!! haha

Love Santorini! We went there for our honeymoon back in 2003 with no plans or reservations, just wanderers. There is only one source of freshwater on the island and we accidentally found it one day hiking back from ancient Thera or Fira (I can’t remember which). I do know that is was on top of a huge hill and we opted to walk instead of take the bus…..47 switchbacks later we finally made it. Anyway, hiking back down there was what looked to be a path, almost impossible to see. We decided to take it, why not, and eventually came to this little cave in the side of the mountain with a tree growing out of the side. It was not the most beautiful sight on the island and there was an old gate blocking the entrance but it was an awesome experience. We hiked down a back way and ended up on a black stone beach where we gladly swam for an hour or so to cool off.

Acabei de chegar de uma ida a Turquia e Grécia e Portugal.. Grécia foi minha paixão. Fui a Atenas, Mikonos e Santorini.
