Perched almost precipitously on the rim of Santorini‘s caldera is the stunning Mystique Hotel. I’m headed to Greece and Turkey for the first time in October and can’t wait to witness the uninterrupted views of volcanic cliffs, the iconic white-washed villas, and the clear blue waters of the Aegean Sea. Beyond this my itinerary is still open so I’d love any suggestions if you are so inclined to share!
OMG what a dream! really need to go there 🙂
you are so lucky!! greece is literally the most beautiful place i’ve ever been. i dream of going back pretty much every 40 minutes or so. haha

Oh I’m so happy you’re visiting my country! Santorini is a gorgeous island! With very beautiful architecture! I’ve been there only once but I want to visit again! You should visit the Red beach (or sth like that). It is located near Akrotiri. It was my favorite beach when visiting Santorini!
You’re soooo lucky!! I hope you bring back lots of pics to share.
Oh you’re going to love it! My family is from Turkey and I go at least once a year, to Istanbul but also sometimes we sneak away to the beaches in Bodrum or Antalya… it’s so beautiful, and the food is to die for. Keep us posted on where you’re going, I would love to hear all the details!

This is a place I have ALWAYS wanted to go. WOW…thank you for reminding me why!!!
I just can’t wait to see your Greece and Turkey photos!!!!
heaven! how could you ever go back to work living in a place like this?
Greece is on my list for the end of this year too! Can’t pass up a hotel like this!
the shopping in istanbul is very, very awesome. There’s a really nice Turkish label called Ipekyol, check that out. their dresses are gorgeous. and pass by the grand bazaar too. It’s a tourist trap, but a fun one, and bargain 70% of the price to get to its true worth:D
I’ve never been to Greece but I have vacationed in Turkey. It’s incredible and beautiful and I wish I was going back. Have a great trip and take lots of pictures!
Hope you will take lots of pics to share!
oh my goddd you’re gonna LOVE it!! I traveled to Greece last summer and it is my favorite place in Europe thus far. The place I stayed at in Santorini looks just like the 3rd photo down, magical. Literally. but it’s kind of a quiet island (which is perfect for vacation) but my favorite island was Mkyonos. are you headed there? the beaches are beautiful (no beaches in Santorini but amazing views by the pool) and the town/village is full of INCREDIBLE restaurants, shopping and people. so excited for you!! haha
hi,i am from greece and i’ve been to santorini before two years.you should go to the red beach in greek it is called ”kokini paralia”,also you should go the the clubs koo and ainigma, they are the best, you should also go to the beach bar chilli, everyday has a party and everyone is dancing and you should definitely eat to the restaurant(in greek is called ”taverna”) “o kritikos”!EVERYBODY knows it,it has great tradtional food, large actually extra large portions of food and it is fresh and very cheap, but it has only meat!thats all from me,hope you have a great time and welcome to greece.
ugh I wish I was there… this is amazing I have never been and have always wanted to go. Wish I could just get up and teleport there! what a great post
Ive been to Santorini TWICE (I know, so lucky) Here are some things to note:
Get crepes w nutella and strawberries every evening
See the sunset at the tip of the island every evening (before crepes, bring wine)
RENT A FOURWHEELER
I did it w my (then boyfriend, now husband) and you can cover the entire island and see some serious locals!
BLACK SAND BEACHES – enough said
wow… super jealous! – always wanted to go to Greece… it can’t get any more beautiful!
Wow, that looks gorgeous! I want to go!
This was the wrong post to look at while stuck in the office at work.
Ahh, paradise!! What fabulous pictures!! Thanks for sharing!
One of my favorite bloggers, Joanna Goddard, honeymooned there. Check out her adventures here:
wow, thank you for all your suggestions & tips! i’ll be sure to return with a full report & images!! xx
Love Santorini! We went there for our honeymoon back in 2003 with no plans or reservations, just wanderers. There is only one source of freshwater on the island and we accidentally found it one day hiking back from ancient Thera or Fira (I can’t remember which). I do know that is was on top of a huge hill and we opted to walk instead of take the bus…..47 switchbacks later we finally made it. Anyway, hiking back down there was what looked to be a path, almost impossible to see. We decided to take it, why not, and eventually came to this little cave in the side of the mountain with a tree growing out of the side. It was not the most beautiful sight on the island and there was an old gate blocking the entrance but it was an awesome experience. We hiked down a back way and ended up on a black stone beach where we gladly swam for an hour or so to cool off.
My husband and I got married(and spent the first portion of our honeymoon) in Santorini in April ’09. We stayed here:
* Seriously, one of the best places in Oia.
“Captain Ted” does an amazing sailboat tour around the caldera:
Nectar and Ambrosia
Enjoy! Santorini will change your life;)
Oh god i’d like to go there this august. Could you advise me any hotel to stay at 3star will be just fine I’m looking for reasonable pricing 🙂
Acabei de chegar de uma ida a Turquia e Grécia e Portugal.. Grécia foi minha paixão. Fui a Atenas, Mikonos e Santorini.
This is breathtaking!! can’t gorgeous i wish i was there 🙁
greece has always been a beautiful destination!
I am headed to Greece in December! I look forward to your pictures of Santorini! I will be visiting the island of Crete! (^-^)y
