Lotusland is a thirty-seven acre botanical wonderland in Santa Barbara, California. Former owner Ganna Walska, a Polish opera singer and socialite, once said “I’m an enemy of the average.” This explains why most of her life was dedicated to creating an impressive botanical garden full of rare plants, cacti and topiaries. What an exquisite place to visit!

Seriously beautiful! I love botanical gardens.
Love it! This reminds me of Huntington Library Botanical Gardens in San Marino, CA – everything is old so it’s GIANT – it’s like walking around on another planet.
