Coach Classics

I’ve just recently discovered a penchant for collecting vintage Coach bags. Simple, well made, reminiscent of my childhood and sans logos, they are classic and timeless. I was excited to learn that Coach has returned to their roots by reissuing five iconic styles exclusively for Net -A-Porter. Hopefully, this is the just the beginning of many more throwbacks and collaborations to come!

(Coach Classics $300-$500)

  2. Simple and stylish. A good quality, roomy leather bag will never go out of fashion. Although if it did, it probably wouldn’t stop people wearing them! The Coach re-issues are just my cup of tea.

  3. For years I lamented the arrival of the label-covered cloth bags, but I’m intrigued by these revivals! Definitely taking a closer look

I couldn’t agree more! I wish I would’ve kept my classics. My mom thinks she sold my favorite in a garage sale after high school. Cringe. Free people also has them on their website.

While I prefer and adore the classic Coach bags, it’s a little unsettling that they’ll cost over $300 if you buy them new.

I found a vintage coach at the thrift store in perfectly good condition for only $50 so I’ll take that route!

Maybe this will give them a hint to do away with those “it bags”.

  12. I love that NAP and coach are so with it. This is a perfect example of spotting a trend on the street and responding. Girls in Brooklyn (and I’m sure other places) have been snatching up these vintage bags for some time. I’m glad we have an american iconic bag that looks better with time. Think about how cool English girls look carrying their uber worn Mulberry Bayswater bags.
I’m not sure about the little vintage dooney and burke bag? Somehow it doesn’t do it for me like vintage coach.

I snagged a vintage Coach bag at a Bargain Goodwill Thrift shop for $1.25. I was very quiet until I got in the car because I didn’t want anyone to see my reaction and charge more!

I am so in love with these vintage bags. I like the true vintage ones better than the reissues, but I am very happy that they did the reissue and am also hoping that all those cloth C covered bags go away! And did you know that you can actually bathe these and reshape them to look like new if you find an old one?
