Valentino has taken bohemian extravagance to a mind blowing level. Inspired by Maria Callas and the Roman Opera, creative directors Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli produced a collection that was beautiful, grand, and romantic – but honestly, did we expect anything less? Rich fabrics and exquisite craftsmanship was obvious in the folkloric motifs, lavish embroidery, and elaborate lace work. Colors popped against a black palette, embroidered jackets were worn over dresses, and gowns were accessorized with astrological jewelry and scarab adorned flat sandals. What it not to love here?!
The dresses look stunning and marvelous.
I just saw this on polyvore and thought the headbands would make a cool diy project (hint hint).
I would give anything for one of these jackets, so beautiful
I’m posting looks from L.A. and accessories:
This is SO beyond perfect, I am obsessed. I want every piece.

Such a successful show! The detail in the bohemian and romantic pieces is remarkable (as always), and the embroidery is so beautiful. I love the jackets!

HOW VERY CREEPY THAT THEY ALL LOOK LIKE AUTOTOMITOMS WITH THE SAME HAIR STYLE AND THE
ROBOTIC LOOKS ON EVERY ONE OF THEIR FACES. THIS IS NOT BEAUTY!
BUT THE CLOTHES ARE GORGEOUS!
Amazing! Very ethnic. I love it!
