A few months ago we read news of Tim Kaeding and Lela Tillem, formerly of 7 for All Mankind and Citizens of Humanity respectively, developing a fresh new denim line called Mother. The duo spent the past several years devising new fits and developing materials that look like denim but feel like cashmere. We were immediately sold and have been waiting on pins and needles to get our hands on a pair. Thankfully, Mother is now available for the denim obsessed! PS – check out The Coveteur for a peek inside Tim and Lela’s closets!

hmm cashmere sounds good, I would be so down for a pair.
Investigating these jeans, right this second!!
i just did a post on my favorite jeans yesterday!! these styles are fantaaaastic.
Looks like denim, feels like cashmere? Are you serious? Sign me up!
That is what I call a fabulous line of quality denim!
I am absolutely in love with these.
Love them.. featured one of their wide leg jeans in my appropriate for 20’s, 30’s, 40’s.
Love the flared jeans! Would absolutely love to feel them!
Saw a pair of their skinny jeans at a boutique in Abbot Kinney. Fabric felt like butter! Hem was asymmetrical too longer in the back. At first I thought they sewed them all wrong!
OMGoodness Im officially obsessed! LOVE all the wide flares, and the colors are amazing!! I just want to wiggle my legs into a pair of these ASAP!
Their Showroom is right next to my Showroom. So I’m luckily enough to see the new collections through the tall glass windows. The denim look like better and I can’t wait to snag me a pair!
The photoshop on the girl’s legs at the top is ridiculous. In the bottom few photos, it isn’t done, and she’s still SUPER thin. Insane.
We carry Mother Denim at Zoe Boutique in Old Town Alexandria, VA. They are absolutely gorgeous and the softest denim I’ve ever worn!
Check out their facebook page for more info. Their jeans are FANTASTIC!!!!
