Charlotte Taylor Fall 2012

Charlotte Taylor‘s Fall 2012 lookbook is wonderfully dark, dreamy, and even a bit cooky. Her innate ability to flawlessly mix bold prints with equally strong colors is magical. Honestly, a mustard and navy bird printed blouse paired with purple and green cauliflower printed pants is so fantastic . .  and so typical of Charlotte Taylor. I especially want the dress with the hood!

For some reason they remind me of Alice and Wonderland, I don’t know why. I think I like the first print the most, I can see wearing that on a skirt.

SO great. I have her robot dress from her first collection as well as her ant scarf. Young British Designers is selling her S12 collection now and I have to restrain myself. I may want to save up for AW 12 instead…

The designs are so wearable, love it. The setup of the photo’s indeed has a dark, but enchanting feel to it. Perhaps it’s just me, but the makeup on the model seems very 1920s, which I like… You can’t go wrong with a beautiful owl, either. <3
