Wisteria Tunnel

Each year, from April to May, wisteria blooms in copious amounts at Kawachi Fuji Gardens in Kitakyushu, Japan. Don’t these photographs look unreal, almost as if they were paintings?! Honestly, remarkable!

  12. These are photographs?!? Honestly, WTF? 😉

Seriously, they are amazing. I was pulling the laptop right up to my chin to see if I could see brush strokes, because I was convinced they were paintings. Wow. Gorgeous stuff.

tough to get to from the nearest train station in kitakyushu. if you dont want to pay for an expensive taxi ride, try to get a shuttle to take you to the health spa nearby and it’s like a 10 min walk. also, make sure you go when it’s in bloom…a hint is to go when admission fees are at their highest
