Mismatched Chairs

I absolutely love the idea of a daring set of mismatched chairs around a dining table. Not only does mixing different colors totally work, seeing how different textures and materials being juxtaposed is inspiring. Vintage wooden chairs + metal Tolix chairs + old barstools + plastic Eames chairs + lucite Philippe Starck chairs . . . I’ll take one of each!

Yes! Love this. I’m busy developing a collection of mismatched plates and cups and bowls, but never thought to do it with chairs. Genius.

I am a very organised person and like everything to be matched and perfectly organised, however, I have to admit that mismatched chairs around a dining table look great! I would have never thought that I would like this, but you´re right, they look great!
