Estate in Extremadura

Architectual firm Ábaton transformed an abandoned stable into a gorgeous stone estate in the province of Cáceres, Spain. Sustainability is key as the property’s remote location relies on the sun and two naturally flowing streams for power, via solar panels and turbines. The modern interior design melds so beautifully with the rough and rustic exterior – I mean, who wouldn’t want to live in this dream home?!

Very close to my dream house, a simple building made elegant by a clean and minimal interior. And yet it looks so cosy.

    Hi dear!

Extremadura is a very beautiful region in Spain but I wonder how it would be living in that house during the winter…The weather in Extremadura is quite extreme and during the winter is freezing…
