Some of the most frequently asked questions I get are on the topic of color palettes. These inquiries usually surround the specifics of colors I've chosen to create a wall hanging, curate gallery art, or DIY an accessory. So I thought I'd give you some tips on how to find your own inspiration when it comes to colors and color combinations. Ideas, in general, don't just fall in my lap - I'm constantly and actively searching for them, whether it be in books, in art, or even on Pinterest. For example, I'm currently crushing on sepia, sienna, burnt oranges, and caramels, so I have a running mental note to save any color composite that might include those hues - a board on Pinterest is great for this! The stranger and more unexpected the combination, the better. Then, when I'm ready to create something, I'll try my best to match fabric, ribbons, yarn or art to those colors. It's really as straightforward as that. I hope that some of these beautiful color combinations will inspire you to continue searching, saving and making!

Can you please source your images? All of the links provided do not actually lead to the images you have used. Please stop using other artist’s work without providing an accurate source back to their work so they can actually be credited! Not cool.
