There are just four more sleeps until Christmas and I'm a mess. The house is cluttered, I'm behind on my shopping, and my long to-do list is never ending. As much as I hope to get ahead of myself during the holidays, year after year, I find myself racing against the clock, frantically trying to tie up loose ends before Christmas and the end of the year. But if there's one thing that brings me peace and calm during this hectic time, it's wrapping. Wrapping presents, after everyone has gong to bed, is my precious time. It's meditative, and is even better with a glass of wine. This year, I'm all about the brown paper wrapped presents, tied up with colorful velvet ribbon and tassels. Lots and lots of tassels.
