After visiting California, Nevada, and Florida and photographing what they deem as some of the best Mid-century modern architecture, artistic duo Geebird & Bamby returned to their studio in Wiesbaden, Germany to create the perfect new world. “The New World” is a series of photorealistic landscapes depicting anonymous places of the 20th century. The details are so impeccable, it’s easy to get lost in each image!
It creates an astonishing atmosphere, it’s a bit cold and eery but at the same time it seems warm. Can’t really explain how these works make me feel. But interesting nevertheless!
This is so retro and super, super cool. Love the concept. Have to pin this.
I love how they look so old school. Definitely a beautiful thing to see!
I love the geometric lines and weird colours! http://www.thepaarblog.com/
