Marianne Eriksen Scott-Hansen

Honestly, wow . . . let's just take a moment to bask in total awe of the pure magic that artist Marianne Eriksen Scott-Hansen creates, shall we? The Danish paper artist has been making paper flowers for years - her process involves cutting through 50 to 60 layers of papers at a time to create her delicate and larger than life flowers. Then, with a pair of scissors, she refines the feathery shapes and fringed details. I'm just blown away her work and her innate ability to bring the most dreamy color combinations and soft textures to life.
