Do you prefer a window or aisle seat? For me, it's always a window. There's nothing better than being able to enjoy the view out of an airplane window, plus, I like having something to rest my head against. This is why I'm loving this ongoing series, "Windows," by Los Angeles-based artist Jim Darling. His three dimensional works, using layers of wood and acrylic, depict the vastly different landscapes and surreal cloud formations that he captures using Instagram in-flight. They're a refreshing perspective of something most of us might normally take for granted.
