I want candy! Or should I say, I want Halle Mardahl candy. I'm currently obsessing over the Danish designer's glass "bonbonnières". Lidded jars, dishes and vases are individually hand blown and left to take on their own slight imperfections so that each shape is unique and distinctive. Their vibrant shades of pink, orange, and yellow are contrasted against and stacked upon soft blues, creams and smokey grays. Put things like flowers, candy and treasures inside - whatever your heart desires, it doesn't matter. They're just so incredibly beautiful and delightful to the eyes . . . and in multiples, it's even better.
