Dubai’s Highways From Above

These aerial shots of Dubai’s highways, swept over by desert sandstorms, are absolutely breathtaking. It’s been years since we first featured Irenaeus Herok’s landscape photography and I’m just loving the direction in which he’s taken his work. These roadways look beautifully surreal, with abstract forms of sand obstructing never ending passages in such a serene way.

The shot with the camels relaxing in the desert covered by those colorful blankets…love.
It gives us a break from man made symmetry of asphalt.

I’ve experienced this first hand and didn’t realize it was the sandstorm causing these roads to be blocked off! Haha. Thank you for the explanation.

  6. I’m impressed, I must say. Rarely do I encounter a blog that’s both
equally educative and amusing, and let me tell you, you have hit the nail on the
head. The problem is something too few people are speaking intelligently
about. Now i’m very happy I came across this during my search
    for something regarding this.
