What started out an accidental exercise with a single roll of painter’s tape, is now the medium that artist Aakash Nihalani uses for his geometric, trompe l’oeil forms on sidewalks and public surfaces. I love his most recent work, where blue paint is seemingly spilling over a 3-dimensional shape.

OMG!! This is fascinating. Wow!! Boy, I tell ya.. We are all created with different talents. It is truly up to us to figure out what they are. I have two sons with autism and when I read about people like Aakash, and how they allow their imagination come to life like this, I pray that my boys find the reason that they we’re put on this earth. Very unique and fascinating. Thanks for sharing. http://www.meghanandjulie.etsy.com

Some of these pictures I have seen before.
I don’t find particularly interesting … it looks decrepit.
This is AMAZING. I’m already a huge fan of cubes, so this sucks me right in. New fan.
Cheers
