Honestly WTF

Soneva Kiri

Posted by on

I can’t stop daydreaming about Soneva Kiri, a peaceful retreat on Koh Kood – one of Thailand’s largest yet most uninhabited islands. Set amidst a lush tropical rain forest, the 102 acre, eco-friendly and zero emission resort boasts 29 luxurious villas and private residences. Honestly, this place takes rest and relaxation to another level. The breathtaking dining pod, floating high above eucalyptus trees, is reason enough to visit! WTF.

This place looks like a little bit of heaven.

But I always wonder with resorts like this, what kind of interaction are you having with people who live in the area. That’s why I’m not a resort person, I find people go and have absolutely no cultural experience, and the “locals” are treated like exotic creatures.

I’m not saying that about this specific place, but you’re typical beach resort.

Anyway, the beauty of this place is undeniable.

How beautiful! A friend of mine just got back from Thailand and couldn’t talk more highly about it! This resort looks like the perfect place to stay though. Now you have me dreaming :)

After coming back from our trip to South Africa last month people often ask where we are going next. I usually say some where remote, paradise-like, and so on. This place is almost exactly what I imagined in my head. Absolutely breath taking!
