There’s something so beautifully theatrical about wall murals – one of the oldest forms of decorative wall treatments. I’ve been dragging my feet on settling on a repetitive wallpaper for our powder room but was recently inspired by de Gournay‘s exquisite hand painted reproductions of 18th century Chinoiserie landscapes. I love it so much, I’m going for it . . .

Gorgeous! Growing up in my parents’ house I was not allowed to have an illustrated wall (or ceiling for that matter) and now I’m moving to a apartment with more windows than walls… Well wat can one do but dream rigth!
