Well…I’m sold. Hope you get the commission on the sale!

That’s crazy town!! But definitely would be an awesome way to get through those NYC winters. Yep, margaritas by the pool in December, I could live with that!

Ha! I’m not sold on the giant pool. It would be a killer place to party but for sure I’d drunkenly slip and knock myself out. Imagine all the food that would end up in there…

Honestly WTF, indeed! It looks so unassuming from the outside! I wonder how long it will take me to save up 10.95 mil…

wouldn’t it smell? if this were mine, all that leather would be ruined in no time.

    It is absolutely gorgeous!

Not only do I not have $11M to spare but I’ll have to wait til the little ones learn how to swim!

What?! This is INSANE!! I’m going straight to the bank now and withdraw the 11 mil. Oh, wait. It’s only monopoly money? Boo. Let’s talk in a gazillion years then.

Wow, It’s really amazing, but I wouldn’t want a pool in my living room. Haha, the hammock chair above the pool is great :)

I’m glad I’m not the only one thinking about the chlorine smell!
and what about the humidity from all that water in a closed space? I feel like this would really f*ck things up in the room…

  12. Abe    June 23, 2011

Somehow I doubt that you would be using chlorine to keep your pool clean if you owned this house. There are plenty of natural and equally effective alternatives, if you’re willing to pay for them.

hhaha, the swing is from IKEA :D crazy looking rooms!

    Holy Mother of Kitch!

The friggin’ pool is bigger than the living room area! I’d be on board if it wasn’t for the decor. Swimming and splashing around is much better than watching TV.

But those armchairs and cowhide and all the rest hurt my eyes.

Why would anyone want one of these in their living space? I don’t see the point! If you want a swimming pool give it its own space. I hate swimming pools in the first place but to have one in the lounge or kitchen? No way. On in a million years or for any amount of money.

  16. fifi    June 25, 2011

well, it wouldn’t necessarily smell of chlorine, there are good alternatives like salt or copper ionization… but the swing spells trouble to me- imagine all the splashing going on there and the sofas, the TV and kitchen bar so close to the water. but the concept is pretty cool, and surely you wouldn’t need 11 mil- after all, this could be done anywhere, not just in Manhattan…

  17. Rebecca    June 27, 2011

Not sure if I’d love a swimming pool in my living room, but it is an insanely awesome idea.
