An Indoor Dip

Would you have ever guessed that behind the door of this Manhattan townhouse is a living room with a pool?! With a swing? Honestly…WTF. If you’re in the market for a new and oh so retro home, this 5 story pad can be yours for a mere 10.95 million.

Somehow I doubt that you would be using chlorine to keep your pool clean if you owned this house. There are plenty of natural and equally effective alternatives, if you’re willing to pay for them.

    Holy Mother of Kitch!

The friggin’ pool is bigger than the living room area! I’d be on board if it wasn’t for the decor. Swimming and splashing around is much better than watching TV.

But those armchairs and cowhide and all the rest hurt my eyes.

Why would anyone want one of these in their living space? I don’t see the point! If you want a swimming pool give it its own space. I hate swimming pools in the first place but to have one in the lounge or kitchen? No way. On in a million years or for any amount of money.

well, it wouldn’t necessarily smell of chlorine, there are good alternatives like salt or copper ionization… but the swing spells trouble to me- imagine all the splashing going on there and the sofas, the TV and kitchen bar so close to the water. but the concept is pretty cool, and surely you wouldn’t need 11 mil- after all, this could be done anywhere, not just in Manhattan…
