DIY Star Piñata

We’re continuing the Cinco de Mayo festivities over on HonestlyYUM this week with a step by step tutorial on how to make a star piñata! I can’t remember the last time I got messy with paper mâché or even made a piñata from scratch for that matter. This trip down memory lane got me hooked and I’m already brainstorming my next piñata project. I’m thinking a donkey . . . thoughts?

  3. What an awesome piñata! The colors are amazing along with the shape.
What little treats did you fill yours with? For some reason when I think of pinatas I think about mini tootsie rolls.

The colours are absolutely gorgeous. Bright and cheery. I wouldn’t be have the patience to make this though; judging by how I took 10mins to decorate my bag ><
