The Kooples

I have absolutely fallen in love with The Kooples‘ ad campaign, which features real-life couples looking drop-dead cool and outfitted in interchangeable separates by Kooples, of course. A bit of rock ‘n’ roll with a British edge, the line was founded by three French brothers who turned to Saville Row for their iconic ateliers. Saville Row is a street in Mayfair, London, made famous for its bespoke tailoring. If fact, the term “bespoke” is understood to have originated in Savile Row when cloth for a suit was said to “be spoken for” by individual customers. Check out the rest of the too-sweet videos from their campaign here!

It’s kind of uncanny how much the model pairs look like siblings. Also, I like the color schemes going on here.

  20. Some of them really look alike! I also love the angle from which they were shot! My bf and I look like Sesame Street’s “one of these things just doesn’t belong here…” but that’s me – opposites attract!

Now this is how you do an ad campaign! It’s incredibly genius to use real-life couples in their adverts and I just love their tailored, refined looks. It’s definitely striking.

I would find it difficult to find the patience and compassion reserves necessary to talk with anyone who puts this much effort into their appearance. Hopefully, they don’t come off so douchey in real life.
