Painted Intersection

Posted by on

Earlier this year, a group of unknown bikers spilled about 500 liters of water-based environmentally-friendly paint on the asphalt of Berlin’s Rosenthaler Platz. Plenty of cars and their wheels, during rush hour, became the tool for this colorful guerilla art piece. Imagine this being done on the 405 in LA or in New York’s Time Square!

How considerate of them to spill the paint right AFTER they crossed the pelican crossing. It’s a shame I missed that.

This is so cool! I wonder how many people got mad that their tires were painted. haha Thanks for sharing this! Great inspiration.

Although cool, I wouldn’t want my car tires colored from paint…

    Beautiful!
New York? LA?? I think not. The security cameras would photograph the “artists” and they would be arrested for vandalism. People who got paint on their tires would sue. Sadly, we live in a different world here in the States.

I would be pissed if I were one of the drivers…cool but a bit inconsiderate unless the paint comes right off.
