Madness Is Part Of Life

Posted by on

Brazilian artist Ernesto Neto‘s latest installation is truly representative of it’s title: Madness Is Part Of Life. He and and his protegé Evandro Machado have suspended thousands of plastic balls with colorful netting, allowing visitors of the exhibition to walk along it’s winding path. The crazy, jungle gym-like structure, set against the pristine white walls of Espace Louis Vuitton Tokyo, is pretty genius – I’d love to see, feel, and experience it in person.

This is great! I’ve been studying installation art recently for my portfolio class and this is one of the funniest ones I’ve come across yet. Makes me wish i could go there and play on it just like I’m a kid again

it REALLY looks like a gigantic intestine with its mesentery , the colon and the very “end” of it . and there even is a “pop” on the floor!

This looks so much fun and creepy at the same time! And I totally agree with some biological comments about it looking alike intestine or ecoli!!!!

This is a beautiful exhibit. Free to anyone. It felt like a magical treehouse, built for swaying in. loved it.
