Lelet NY

I’ve got to thank hairstylist extraordinaire Kristin Ess for introducing me to Lelet NY via Snapchat. Just when you think you’ve seen it all, designer Sara Bieler Sasson is raising the bar with her modern and refreshing take on hair accessories. Halo-like headbands are distinctively three dimensional, delicate chains are hanging from adorned bobby pins and multi-functional barrettes are made to be versatile. It’s all so beautiful, one can’t help but be inspired to give their “do” a little more TLC.

I ordered a $260 comb VERY EARLY before it sold out, someone who works there wanted the comb when it sold out fast, and sent me a DINKY shitty (one on of three set) worth about $75, thinking I wouldn’t notice-the difference between a $60 flower and a $260 flower- because I am located far away, they thought they could pull one- I’m FROM NY, they didn’t close the satchel, the packaging sucked AND it was, the package was NOT gone into my fed ex, literally someone who works there just stole (Now SOLD OUT) item them HAlfASSED my order (the satchel was open, the packaging was REALLY SHIT AND HALF-ASSED) thinking I wouldn’t-notice a $300 was switched out our for a similar but NOT THE SAME AT ALL comb work $60 a third of the size and less quality, and I know it was intentional, because the item was as set of three, and was sent as a a single item, so they intentionally tried to switch it out something “similar” meaning a flower, and VERY DIFFERENT, and like a third of the size and PRICE. SO FAR, A SCAM. I have another $500 on it’s way, let’s see how that goes. They wouldn’t answer their phone EVEN THOUH THTEY WERE OPEN for my phone number, but answered for a friend number, so they knew I would call from my 201 number (for the first time ever-it’s not like ever called before), I’ll have to challenged it on my credit card, they aren’t classy, seems like the owner is letting a bunch of marginal immature spiteful girls run the show. I have about $5000 items of orders I wanted to place over the next two year, but lets see how the owner rectifies this SOLD OUT item that is RIGHTFULLY MINE since I ordered it early, All the people who ordered the same thing AFTER ME, but love in NY got their item (like 7 people) so they chose the person they think doesn’t’ know the difference. ALSO their package was ENTIRELY DIFFERENT! So my package was handled by someone who HAS NO BUSINESS WORKIN THERE. SKETCHY.

I just want to say that it’s very clear from the packaging, that they got a limited amount of these items in, someone who works there wanted to steal one, so they chose the girl from CA thinking I wouldn’t notice, separated a comb from a set of three, and put it in the package (when that comb isn’t even sold separately or as an individual) then crumbled up the paper didn’t every out it in the satchel or close the satchel, didn’t even put it on the cardboard (which was out of the paper, and the package was a COMPLETELY SEAL WHEN IT ARRIVED, it’s clear someone tried to evade stealing my comb, because they got more and I not have asked 9 POEPLE I KNOW, from NYC, who got theirs and on ALL THEIR PACKAGING LOOKS ENTIRELY DIFFERENT. CLEARLY MY ITEMS WAS STOLEN BY A WORK ER AND SHOVED IN DESCRETELY TO THE MAILER. THEN when I called up they ignored my call, my friend called from from NYC, they picked up, I called back they ignored my call, THEN I CALLED FROM MY 917 NYC, AND THEY PICKED UP, when I told them, THEY HUNG UP ON ME!!! who ever is monitoring the phones is snuffing this, I WILL SPEAK THE OWNER, and deal with this judiciary this is harassment, and targeting.

BTW IT WAS A $30 COMB THEY SENT ME, not $75

They made up for the discrepancy, and said they had a new shipper. They really went above and beyond, since all the packaging was so “different” and the item was sold out I assumed it was someone trying to kind of just quickly send out a lesser value item, they REALLY made up for it. I will ABSOLUTELY be purchasing from them again, they didn’t ask me to clarify this review, but they really had a new person who just didn’t know what they were doing, and really apologized for the wrong item and like no packaging sent. Already purchased a headband again from them. They are legit, they just had a new person who didn’t care probably… but they ABSOLUTELY went above and beyond…
