I'm on an earring kick, if you haven't already noticed. After getting a few more piercings last summer, I've been obsessed with "curating" my ears with different combinations of earrings - it's an addiction, really. This is why I'm revisiting designer Kat Kim and her current collection of tromp l'oeil ear cuffs, hooks and pins. What makes her pieces so special are the innovative silhouettes - fine gold bars that seem to be piercing through the lobe, a delicate, diamond studded curve appearing to be floating around the entire ear, and a series of hoops that link together over the ear so you're not actually sure what part of the ear it's actually holding onto. Kat has me continuously intrigued, making her one of my favorite jewelry designers at the moment. . . and frankly, she's got me craving more piercings!
