It’s hard to believe that I’m already halfway through my pregnancy and that come early spring, this baby girl will round our family out from 3 to 4. Honestly, where has the time gone? And the last time Quincy made an appearance here, I was sharing his nursery with you. He was not yet walking and just shy of his first birthday. Slow your roll, time. Seriously. When Gap recently asked me to share how I like to celebrate the holidays, for Styld.By, the one thing that came to mind was family. The holidays are the reason why fall is my favorite season – but experiencing it through a child’s wholesome and ingenuous eyes makes it all that much more special. And now, with baby #2 on the way, I’m savoring every moment I’m able to have alone with Q. So on this day, we made grandma’s holiday specialty: spiced chocolate chip cookies. Together. Thanks to Quincy’s heavy hand, they turned out far too salty, a little dry and heavy on the vanilla . . . they were perfect.

I love this- your son is just a bit younger than my daughter and I’m excited to bake with her this year! Can you tell me where your flour jar is from?
He is such a cute boy! Wonderful photos!

Aww…that is too cute…definitely worth sacrificing the perfect detail of the recipe for the smiles and laughter with your little boy. You both look great. https://champagneinateacup.wordpress.com/
