Inspired by the indigenous craftsmanship of their Filipino heritage, Becky Aranáz and her two daughters founded their own handbag label nearly 18 years ago. Aranáz quickly became covetable by Manila’s chic fashion set but it wasn’t until recently that their whimsical and colorful straw bags started receiving an international following. It’s no wonder. Toucans, flamingos and tropical fruits are so intricately embroidered onto totes, which are finished with the right amount of flair via pom poms, fringe and tassels. Obviously, I’m in love. And clearly, they know their market well . . .
(Aranáz bags $125 – $470; available at Moda Operandi)

They did a great job with their photos and styling. The yellow dress with the polka dot belt is calling me.
Love the footwear.
