Drawing inspiration from Bonjour Tristesse, a bittersweet tragedy set in the French Rivieria, and Wong Kar Wai’s In the Mood For Love, a dramatic love story set in Hong Kong, Erdem Moralioglu certainly set the mood this season with a collection of cool toned floral prints, sheer lace overlays, and classically elegant silhouettes. Add une chapeau and a pair of lace gloves and voila, the Erdem girl is ready for a season of weddings, showers, garden parties . . . and romance, of course.

In the mood for love is one of my favorite movies, such a beautifully shot film! I was just raving to my girlfriends last week about how they NEED to see it (Have you seen 2046 too?, same DOP and director) Also adore Erdem! Could hardly ask for a better combo.
