It’s been nearly a year since I adopted my first large indoor plant and I’m happy to report that this black thumb of mine has managed to keep the fiddleleaf fig tree alive and thriving. This newfound confidence has me on the hunt for my next green friend and I’m crushing hard on the idea of an indoor olive tree. I love their neutral, pale green color and versatile size. Plus, they are slow growing and flourish with just a bit of water and lots of sunlight. My kinda plant!

I’ve always been in love with those old olive trees you see in the south of Europe – never knew that you could have one in your home! Thanks for sharing!
Beautiful interiors x
These trees are so cute!
Whoa I love this idea! I get so sick of the basics, this is genius!
I’m trying to understand how I’ve never considered a little indoor olive tree. I love indoor plants and have many; macrame hangers and all. Now I need to get a nice little indoor olive tree to complete things. Thank you for this.
Love the interior decor to go with these trees, they all have that similar carefree and fresh bright vibe <3
Yeah, olive trees are great (in the summer, when you can keep them outside), but in the winter it’s pretty hard to keep him beautiful and ALIVE. The best condition would be 10°C and sun, and i don’t know, who’s got those conditions at home…
So i hope my “Oliver” will survive winter in our bedroom and keep a few leaves becquse mst of them he lost already 🙁
But i wish you and your future olive tree only the best and hold thumbs for him 😉
Oh my! How wonderful. Going out to source one this weekend!
I would love to have my own indoor olive tree. It’s something my family on both ends has done, grow their own olive trees, in the middle east and it just brings me back home.
