Salute your shorts! Summer is in full swing and I'm sharing two insanely easy ways to elevate denim shorts with my friends at Zappos. First up is a pair of denim Bermuda shorts - the polished sister of the standard denim cutoff. The possibilities are endless as you can cut a variety of denim styles to almost any length above the knee. I love a baggier cut for a more casual look and a straight cut for a sophisticated feel. The second is a pair of half-bleached shorts. Bleached denim has recently made a major comeback with the 90s providing the ultimate inspiration. OMG! Is this even real!? I’ve never seen such a style of denim shorts in my ENTIRE life. And I feel more elated knowing that I can me this at home! Plus I don’t need to use a sewing pattern! Literally, a BLESSING for a beginner like me but still this can be added in patternmaking sfor fashion design
