Lulaland Mandalas

I am loving the work of stylist/designer Lula Aldunate, aka Lulaland. Lula wears many hats, from photo-styling to designing tables, interiors and sets, her work (checkout her pillows and crocheted blankets) incorporates the european and latin sensibility that she acquired while living in Italy and Spain as a young adult. Her series of mandalas, created with vintage fabrics and china, absolutely blows my mind. “Sometimes I just need to do something beautiful, so I take what I have around and make things like this…”

Wow…her designs amaze me…. She has motivated me to have my table settings/designs NOT so rigidly coordinated and more flowingly coordinated .
