The New Yorker cartoonist Bob Eckstein recently shared a collection of drawings and stories inspired by New York City’s most beloved bookstores. I have the most fond memories of some of these charming shops while living in Manhattan so it’s touching to read these short anecdotes. And in an age where some our favorite independent bookstores are devastatingly nearing extinction, it’s a great reminder to continue to support our local bookstores! Therefore there are so many of them available
