Last night I saw Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros perform at The Fillmore SF, which is the inspiration for today’s post: quartz crystal. I’ve always been so fascinated with this stunning mineral but not so much for its healing properties but rather, for its complex structure and evolution. Quartz is the most common mineral in the Earth’s crust and is formed naturally from the silica which collects within the cracks and veins of rocks like sandstone and granite…cool, right?
