With some clever camera trickery, artists Lucie & Simon have captured some of the world’s most populated cities completely devoid of any human activity. The result is a series of unimaginable, apocalyptic-like photos – honestly eerie yet incredibly compelling and cool.

beautiful
I saw these last week.
There is something magical and Orwellian about them.
Really like.

Wow, this is creepy and beautiful. I don’t know how they managed to get these cities so vacant! It reminds me from something out of the Twilight Zone.

These are stunning…reminds me of the opening scenes in Vanilla Sky. I used to love to walk to work early in the AM so the whole island of Manhattan feels empty…

WOW! I love these so much! I’m so happy to have been to a few of these places, but I almost didn’t recognize some of them without their characteristic chaos as identifying marks! So glad you shared 🙂
I always wondered how they got these shots. I love seeing these places so empty. It feels so wrong!

so beautiful in a scary way
I love that they leave one or two people in each picture. It makes it seem so much more eerie. Like that person has no idea that everyone else has vanished and they’re just continuing on with their day. These are so cool.
wow these photos are amazing. It reminds me of all the zombie movies when the lone main character wakes up and realizes everyone’s dead but him….creepy
