Coco de Paris

Coco de Paris, a mixed media designer, paints charming and humorous creatures on antique french paper. This series in particular was illustrated on “La Petit Illustration,” a weekly French literary journal that published plays, novels, and short stories in the 1920s. So in addition to owning an incredibly unique piece of art, you’ll own a little bit of French history. Cool, huh?

    Are these really printed directly onto the antique paper, or are they copies of the antique pages? It seems almost a shame to print on something like that, but it’s not like the artist is ruining the pages by any means! I sure do love that octopus <3

    I ordered these the second you posted. She was amazing and customizing and getting them to me ASAP. I highly recommend. I ended up getting the skull w gold crown, the customized deer w antlers (added my husband & my names to it) and the french bulldog with bubble gum. She even included a smaller print of a peacock for free. Amazing!

    I love the one with the fox, it definitely stands out like reading the book and someone staring at you. But the one that has the most elegance would definitely be the bird on the chair. Something on the angle of the bird and the chair just gives you that feel of elegance.
