There's something about designer Anna Heinrichs’ label, Horror Vacui, that brings me so much joy and delight. The German designer's silk and cotton dresses, blouses and shirts are inspired by her love of 15th and 16th century nightgowns. Her signature floral prints, scalloped edges and hand-smocked panels feel feminine and sweet, while the exaggerated volume and unique silhouettes counter by being quirky and audacious. Anna's latest collection includes more floral prints as well as a wider range of white dresses and separates that play with texture and sharper, geometric trims. It's all just so wonderfully exquisite . . . and don't we just need to immerse ourselves in beauty these days, even if from afar?
