Taking inspiration from the ancient styles of Mexico, Beatrice Valenzuela honors craftsmanship with her collection of handmade moccasins and sandals. And it’s no wonder the LA based designer has such a devoted following – her shoes are incredibly comfortable and meant to last a lifetime. On my summer wishlist? These luxuriously soft leather sandals, which are the result of a collaboration between Beatrice and her sculptor husband Ramsey Conder.
La Casa de Carolina Herrera Báez
Thank you, Rosaline, for digging up this decade old gem of a spread, showcasing Carolina Herrera Báez‘ stunning home in Madrid. The daughter of designer Carolina Herrera, and the creative fragrance director of the eponymous brand, has done an stellar job incorporating an eclectic mix of vintage, flea market finds, modern textiles and subtle uses of pink. Personal, inspiring and simply beautiful.
Clover Canyon Swim Resort 2016
Leave it to Clover Canyon to make sunflowers, polka dots, and oversized grommets look so damn chic. Their latest collection of swimwear includes sculpting neoprene one pieces, high waisted bikinis and swim shirts – all plastered in jubilant floral and graphic prints. I’m just wishing I had a couple of pieces packed with me in Mexico now!
Lizzy Stewart
London based artist Lizzy Stewart‘s drawings have the perfect touch of quirk and charm to them. I love how each illustration tells a story, with new details that catch the eye upon further study. I’m totally smitten! And if her aestheic looks familiar to you, you’ve probably spotted her work in The New York Times or on the cover of several books.
