You gotta love Massimo Giorgetti‘s energetic and lighthearted aesthetic. In his retro-inspired resort collection, three dimensional pineapples, spindly cacti, oversized florals, gingham, and geometric patterns are happily jumping off print heavy ensembles. And the ease of the silhouettes, including A-line dresses, flared jumpsuits, mod shaped blouses, and easy outerwear, make the clothes totally wearable and honestly fun.
Clare Celeste Börsch
Clare Celeste Börsch has some seriously impressive collaging skills. Babes, butterflies, birds, flowers, and gemstones are cut from vintage books and assembled to create wonderfully weird imagery. But now, which print should I order?
Morley Kids Summer 2014
Honestly, how flippin’ adorable is this collection of children’s clothing from Belgium brand Morley. The summer dresses and jumpsuits are just beyond darling. And finally, some decent looking boys clothes which is a nice change from some of the more mundane options I’m used to seeing. If only designer Anouck Robyn made some of these pieces in adult sizes!
San Giorgio
A luxuriously simple and bohemian boutique hotel, with just 33 rooms, is the kind of place I would like to stay if I ever made it to Mykonos. The San Giorgio is picturesque white – accented by colorful kilims, rustic wood furniture, peacock chairs, hanging rattan chairs, netted canopies, patterned tile floors, and hammocks galore. And that dock nested between the rocks on the Aegean Sea?! Please insert me there now.
