Designer Shahla Kareen designs and individually handcrafts each introspective piece of jewelry for her Ludevine line. She uses a variety of natural elements such as solid gold and ancient fossils in her Primitive Collection, for example, exploring ideas of rebirth and resurrection while paying homage to some of nature’s most exquisite marvels. A few weeks ago, I finally got to see and feel the human heart locket from her Sempt Collection and I must say, it’s absolutely stunning – weighty, intricate, beautiful and so unique!
