Jessica Seaton

Los Angeles based designer Jessica Seaton‘s collection is entirely hand sculpted and casted using the ancient method of lost wax. She told me her hands are always dirty from working with metals, staining wood, and dying fabrics, which explains the dip dyed fingers in her latest bohemian-inspired lookbook. I’m desperately needing the oversized naja ring!

  11. LOVE the dipped fingers – it’s an old Arabic / muslim tradition to wear henna like that.
It’s really popular among young muslim girls.

Gorgeous and otherworldy! I love the ring with the white/transparent stone wrapped in a golden claw (at least that what is appears to be). So lovely.

I love her style BUT… after having her make me a custom engagement ring I would NOT RECOMMEND using her. She completely ruined my whole engagement process. We agreed on timelines and then I made plans and even gave an extra week just in case and I never got the ring. I did’nt hear from her until the day of my proposal. I had friends fly in from California and Australia to be there (im in kansas city) and I had heard nothing from her wether it was going to be there or not. The day of I got an email saying it wasn’t going to be there in time and that it’d show the next day. Well, It never showed. I then was supposed to get it while on vacation in Maui for the next 2 weeks and never got it. It’s been 3 weeks past the day she said I would have it and I have had no explanation as to why it came so late. check out my experience at jessicaseatondesigns.com.

this reeks of cultural appropriation. why can’t you people just be original, and not exploit other cultures for your fashion shit?

I’m sure there was a good reason for the issues Chad experienced. I personally have had a very good or exceptional experience. Thank you Jessica
