Roberto Cavalli Resort 2013

Posted by on

Roberto Cavalli has always been the master of bold and exotic prints but his resort collection is somewhat of a pleasant departure from seasons past.  Tuxedo tailoring and floor length bohemian hemlines came in bold, floral prints and porcelain-inspired, baroque patterns in shades of blue, purple and yellow. Bold chokers and sick shoes finished it all off. I’m absolutely dying over each and every single piece!

This collection made it extremely difficult to differentiate the difference between want and need. Ultimately I decided that I NEED everything…E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G!!!

Who would/could wear these? Nice to look at, but saleable?

Those clothes are totally saleable!!! You don’t wear the entire printed suit together (if you’re not brave enough to) you just match a printed blazer with solid coloured trousers or the other way round. Be creative!

Are you sure this is Cavalli?! Usually his stuff is borderline trashy, but this is such a wonderful departure. It reminds me of Rodarte – I want every piece.
