Marc Jacobs Fall 2012

Marc Jacobs, as The Mad Hatter, brought huge smiles to our faces with his gigantic, oversized hats . . . which just goes to show that fashion should never be taken too seriously.

Agreed! I absolutely loved this, and I’m not usually a huge Marc Jacobs fan. But this was just so much fun!

  5. I just hope that this fur is faux, cause otherwise i don’t like them at all! Seriously, how cool can be the fact that you will wear on your head a fox’s scream?

ok stupid comment here but is any of this real fur?

cause Mad Mark is madder than the hatter if he used real fur to do this.

This is a very fun looking collection, but if this is real fur it is appalling use of it. I am against the fur industry as a whole, but at least a fur coat makes a bit of sense, fur as decoration and accessories is ONLY waist of life.

Is it just me, or do these remind anyone else of those Mad Hatter hats that are prizes at carnival games? While I enjoy the concept (truly, I love a good hat!), I think these are overdone – just a bit too overwhelming.

Great post, though! I agree that fashion should never be taken too seriously. 😉

Marc Jacobs pulls out the guns, I must say. those super fancy over hats are very dreamy pieces. lovin’ them to bits. if i could have it, probably it will be in my trophy shelf, getting all the attention of people walking past, but never worn =p
