Located on the sandy shore of Cabarita Beach, in Australia’s New South Wales, is what might be one of the most stunning boutique hotels in the world. For someone who is obsessed with indigos and blues, I’m partial. But I think anyone in their right mind would agree that interior designer Anna Spiro hit it out of the park, alongside owners Elisha and Siobhan Bickle, with the redesign of the 1960s motel. The juxtaposition of European luxury and Australian casualness is perfected with the use of upholstered walls, mixed indigo-hued textiles, gallery walls, and a bevy of antique furniture. Australia . . . whose coming with me?!

I’m not that big on blues in interior design, for some reason. I normally gravitate toward blue in my wardrobe though. Nonetheless, I really like the decor and design of this hotel. I’m particularly fond of the colorful, patterned headboards and the use of “gallery walls.”
